The Polk County Supervisors oversee a budget of more than $400 million. Everyday our lives in Polk County are influenced by the decisions of this 5-member board. I am running for District 3 Supervisor to:
increase transparency and communication concerning the work of the board so the best decisions for all involved can be made.
bring a fresh look to how our resources are allocated by re-evaluating how grants, contracts, and projects are determined in order to maximize the benefits to our communities.
prioritize mitigation, preparedness and resiliency for extreme weather events.
